"We started not as an organisation, but as a group of friends who couldn't look away."
Oyintee and Friends Foundation was founded on the simple but powerful conviction that ordinary people can make an extraordinary difference — not by waiting for systems to change, but by showing up where the need is greatest.
What began as a small group of friends deciding to spend a day giving back to their community has grown into a structured, impactful non-governmental initiative reaching hundreds of vulnerable individuals every year through our flagship outreach, Journey Down The Streets (JDTS).
We are not driven by grants or recognition. We are driven by people — by faces we've seen, by stories we've heard, and by the belief that everyone deserves dignity.
To consistently serve the most vulnerable members of our society through organised, compassionate community outreach — providing material support while restoring hope and dignity to those living on the margins.
A world where no one has to face hardship without a community behind them — where empathy translates into action, and where everyday people take responsibility for the wellbeing of their neighbours.
Oyintee and Friends is powered by a dedicated core team and an ever-growing family of volunteers who give their time, energy, and heart to JDTS every year.
